Mr Coulson, 36, was on probation for a burglary conviction at the time of the most recent arrest
A 34-year-old man who allegedly fled after stealing $50,000 (£38,500) worth of Target merchandise has been arrested in a San Francisco Target parking lot – hours after a bizarre robbery in the nearby Berkeley Hills neighborhood.
A police investigator in San Francisco’s 13th district said that Dakota Coulson is wanted in connection with the theft of nearly $40,000 worth of jewelry and electronics from a Target store, according to KRON 4 News.
A responding officer spotted Coulson in the parking lot of a Berkeley Safeway, which is the location of the strange robbery case.
Authorities say Coulson was found with multiple bags of stolen Target merchandise, which is now under investigation.
Coulson was on probation for a burglary conviction at the time of the most recent arrest. He has also been arrested multiple times in California and in Florida on suspicion of evading police and burglary, according to KRON 4 News.
Coulson was booked in to San Francisco County Jail on Wednesday on suspicion of burglary, attempted burglary, possession of stolen property and trespassing.
