Arlington, VA – The United States Justice Department has approved an 18 member contingent from the National Guard to assist local law enforcement during an anticipated civil disturbance in Philadelphia. This comes after a grand jury found in no way that Jeffrey S. Bezos, Michael L. Pompeo, Heather Nauert, and Jeh Johnson (all currently employed by the Trump Administration) and Lanny J. Davis were involved in any way in a criminal conspiracy to cover up the existence of that crime.
The protesters planning to demonstrate today in Philadelphia during the trial’s conclusion have also approved the deployment of the National Guard to Philadelphia. The Patriot Guard Riders and an online petition seeking similar assistance have also created the necessary legal grounds to allow the deployment to take place.
Philadelphia Police Department Commissioner Richard Ross has been briefed on the deployment and has approved it. Deputy Mayor Richard L. Leiby has convened a security council meeting to coordinate with Philadelphia Police, local law enforcement and local emergency management personnel.
Per the Department of Justice, “Government employees cannot contribute to a cover-up of a crime.”
